The outpouring of your love and prayers and help over this last week has been so humbling and such a comfort. It has felt like a chunky knit blanket wrapping me up against a wintery storm of fear and doubt. May God bless each of you and recompense you enormously for the blessing you have been to our family.
The surgery is scheduled for this Friday, January 31st at 8 am. For those of you who are medical nerds, it will be performed via laparoscopy with a morcellator. I’ve begun the pre-op liquid-only diet today, which so far hasn’t been as bad as I thought. I already naturally lose weight extremely quickly so was afraid I’d be weak and undernourished for the surgery. Blenders to the rescue, feel a bit like a baby, but all good. Someone very lovingly is coming to watch the kids so David can be with me and take that load off our minds.
Once again, thank you, thank you, thank you for all your prayers.
Lord willing all will go well and I’ll be back here with more of my normal content soon!
Hi Penny, I have been praying for you and will continue to pray the surgery will go well. The Lord is in control. Love Sheela
