We left home on October 15th.

Scrambled for another place to crash.
Arrived to Oaxaca October 16th, 2:00 pm.

Meetings in Magdalena Apasco Oct. 16, 17, 18.

*Encouraged by renewed interest*
Travel to Zamora, needed time with family and believers finally.

Sad, yet healing. Surreal to realize Araceli is really gone. Our friend. Our coworker. My example to follow. She left a deep, deep mark on us all.

Took a weekend to be with believers in Guadalajara. Sweet two days.

Travel to Tepic Nayarit for the weekend. Wonderful blessing.

Continue on to Puerto Vallarta: nightly meetings in San Juan de Abajo (a small town an hour outside of PV), conference that weekend in San Juan de Abajo. Lovely time minus sick, sick kids. But then, has there ever been a conference without sick kids? (Not in my recollection).

Turn around, a day in Zamora, buy a puppy, then all the way…..

home. Nov. 25.

Little over a month away. So wonderful to be with other believers we haven’t seen for awhile, so encouraged to see God’s work carrying on.
The work in Mexico is one of small pockets of believers. We don’t boast of large numbers or huge interest. Those days, if they existed, are in the past. The beauty of what is here are true, local, believers who try to faithfully follow on as autonomous assemblies, desirous to please God and follow His Word. May we never be known by the phrase I read in a book by Patricia St John describing a certain mission field: a large but dead work. Pray then for a moving of the Holy Spirit; that the faithful would be filled with evangelistic zeal, that neighborhoods all across this great country would be transformed by the two or three. Satan is incredibly busy attempting to destroy even those few. The crazy you see in the world, the wokeness, the censorship, the false allegations to eliminate idealogical threats is mimicked readily within assemblies. Join us in our burden for Mexico. Please pray that Obstacles will be removed, that holiness will be coveted, that the gospel will flourish as it has never been able to before.
Cry to God with us for a Great Awakening in the 21st century.
Great post. Thanks for sharing. We pray for you and the work every day.
